The Bounty of the Barrens (BOTB) is a local, producer-only farmers market supported by Sustainable Glasgow. We offer a variety of produce, meats, eggs, cheeses, baked goods and other local food and handcrafted items from Barren and surrounding counties.
At the BOTB, you can meet local farmers & growers and learn how your food is produced. Buying local is a great way to build the local economy, buy healthy foods and connect with your neighbors.
Together, we are creating a community of educated consumers who understand the health, economic and environmental benefits of supporting local farms & producers.
In Kentucky, we grow a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the year, giving you a large selection of fresh, healthy produce from right here in your community.

What's In Season?
Our vendors are local farmers and producers from Barren and surrounding counties who are dedicated to providing our community with healthy, local food and products.
We are a producer-only market, which means our vendors produce the items they sell. That means you can be confident that everything is locally produced. By shopping at the Bounty of the Barrens, you support the local economy, have access to fresher, safer, healthier foods, reduce your carbon footprint and can actually get to know the people who produce what you consume.

Most vendors accept cash and checks. Many also accept WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers for produce. SNAP, credit and debit cards can be used at the BOTB Market Booth to purchase tokens which can be used at the market.
